Self-host

One docker compose up. That's the install.

Same software as the hosted version, every feature, on your own box. Free forever, because it's the same code and because AGPL.

Three commands.

Clone, fill in the secrets, start. The first build takes a while. Later starts take seconds.

  • Needs Docker, about 4 GB RAM and about 20 GB disk for the first build.
  • Compose refuses to start with a missing secret instead of inventing a weak one.
  • Email optional. OAuth optional. Telemetry off.
  • Backup and restore scripts included.
$ git clone https://github.com/aictiq/aictiq && cd aictiq/deploy
$ cp .env.example .env     # fill in every CHANGE_ME
$ docker compose up --build -d

What runs.

A small, boring stack. Every piece is something you already know how to operate.

Every feature, no limits, no upgrade nags, no license key. Billing code doesn't even switch on.

  • Postgres 17 with row-level security
  • Object storage Garage by default, or any S3: AWS, MinIO, R2
  • The API with the web app built in
  • Background workers outbox and notifications
  • Caddy with automatic HTTPS

Self-hosting is free forever because it's the same software, and because AGPL. If that's you, welcome.
